We lost our parson's terrier, Genghis to liver cancer on Valentine's Day at the age of almost 16. The loss is unbearable but the dignity and helpfulness shown by Chestnut Lodge does give is reassurance that he's getting a proper send off.
It's too quiet without him.

We have used Chestnut Lodge before and would have no hesitation in recommending their excellence and professional services.
This was the fourth time we have used them and for me this was the hardest loss to bare, my darling boy Sonny was lost after only ten years which is no age for a jack russell but he was taken by cancer too soon, he was a beautiful daddy’s boy and life will never be the same without him.
Sleep well my darling boy xx
Stephen and the team at Chestnut Lodge made a painful and difficult time so much easier.

We trusted you with our darling Max. Your brochure explained everything so well.
We received his ashes back today, although our hearts are broken, we can tell he was treated with care and dignity. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for giving him the cremation he truly deserved.
Until we meet again sleep well our gorgeous Max.

Thank you for the dignity and respect to us and our dear cat, Nimbus who we said goodbye to at home after 18 and a half years with us. Everything is explained so well in your booklet and we really appreciate the care taken in returning Nimbus’s ages to us together with the wonderful Vets2Home service. It has given us comfort knowing Nimbus was treated so well right to the end of her earthly life.

Yesterday my gorgeous dog called Daisy was cremated at chestnut Lodge Pet Crematorium. As you can imagine it's so painfull to loose a dog who is your whole world. I was very lucky when I adopted daisy at 8wks old and been together for 12 wonderfull yrs. 6mths ago daisy was diagnosed with a cancerous tumour and upto Xmas was fighting so hard but then things got worse and she passed away on Monday 22nd Jan. It has been heartbreaking without her by my side. The only thing that was left was to give daisy the best funeral I could. I was recommended to chestnut Lodge so I gave them a call and spoke to a very kind lady who knew exactly how I wanted daisy to be given her last journey to be. I chose individual cremation. I received email when daisy had been collected from the vets. And yesterday I was treated so very kindly by Laura and the 2men who were going to be in charge of daisy's cremation and I must say they were emaculately dressed and I could tell my girlie had been treated just as I had wished. I said my final goodbye to daisy and Laura offered some comforting words to help me. Daisy was so very special to me and alot of other people who loved her dearly. I could tell every move she was thinking or going to do. As she did mine. As I drove away from chestnut Lodge I felt proud that I had chosen chestnut Lodge to do daisy's cremation because I couldn't of done things any better myself. It's a huge thing putting your trust in strangers to respect your adored pet. I have done this successfully and I would like to say a huge Thank you to Laura and the gentlemen who gave daisy a beautifull funeral for me. You were wonderfull to me. I felt you all knew exactly what my girlie meant to me. Thankyou from the bottom of my heart all of you. Daisy would of approved very much who I had chosen very much so to show everything her mum wished for a very special funeral. Your's sincerely. Karen.

Our family had to unexpectedly say to goodbye to our beautiful girl Sophie over the New Year and we were all very appreciative of the care & compassion you showed us. Nothing was too much trouble for you and the way you carefully handled our girl was so respectful (just like it was your own dog). Everything was explained to us, and we were confident that we could trust you with carrying the processes out, so thank you for this. We would have no hesitation in recommending your services at any time in the future when needed.

I spoke with a very kind lady today, regarding the cremation of my beloved Westie called Macaroni. She was kind enough to comfort me and explain the process of retrieving his ashes and told me when the cremation had taken place. At such a difficult time, it meant such a lot to be dealt with so promptly and with such kindness. Thank you all for what you do and the service you offer.

At a time of great sadness at losing a pet it is so comforting to know that all the arrangements have been carried out with the greatest of care, attention and sympathy. Nothing is too much trouble and each case is treated to make this difficult time a celebration of your pets life to help you as you face the future without them. I would fully recommend the services of Chestnut Lodge Pet Crematorium to anyone having to deal with the loss of a pet.

I’m so very grateful for the care you showed me after the sudden loss of my beautiful British Shorthair Cat Larry. I required a quicker than usual cremation and after speaking with Stephen it was arranged for the next morning. Stephen greeted me the night before and showed real understanding and kindness. He was so respectful and careful when handling Larry. Processes were explained and I felt very confident that all would go well. Everything was managed with great care, sensitivity, efficiency and consideration. I have recommended your services to a few friends who will unfortunately need it in the coming months and have no problem in recommending you to anyone else. Thank you and bless all of you who make this process so much easier during what is the most difficult time.
