Our beloved dog Daisy unexpectedly died early in the morning at home but we were,at least, with her as she slipped away. I was grief stricken whilst also searching for a suitable pet crematorium before fortuitously finding Chestnut Lodge. Since my first phone call, through to delivering Daisy by car, spending time with her saying our goodbyes and finally returning to collect her a few days later I can state I felt I was being provided with a thoroughly professional yet compassionate service. I highly recommend Chestnut Lodge. Thank You so much.

This is an excellent service! Our wonderful Poppy was given an individual cremation and within a few days she was ready to be picked up and brought back home again. All the packaging was so delicate and thoughtfully placed so neatly, with a flower on top of her precious ashes. Thank you for treating our beloved Poppy with such care and attention.

I cannot praise and thank the staff at Chestnut Lodge highly enough...We were devastated when our beloved cat Billy died suddenly, he was treated with such respect and care.We are very grateful for the excellent treatment and compassion we received. Thank you for your care.

The link up with Oathall Vets is seamless and such a good idea at this very sad time. We were contacted a week later to say they would be ready for collection at the vets if I rang and paid the Cemetery first which I did I spoke to such a very nice person. This kind efficiency made this desperately sad time better. Thank you.

My husband and I would like to commend your team on the sensitive and dignified handling of Trixie, our cat. Having never had cause to use this service before, we had no idea what to expect or what we needed to do. Your staff supported us throughout the process in a kind and caring manner. Obviously we hope not to need your services again for a very long time, but would have no hesitation in doing so as and when the need arises. Thank you.

Thank u for letting me know my darling Frenchie was cremated so quickly it looks very pretty there I didn't arrange a private burial for Lavanti as so shocked I wasn't prepared but at least his ashes will be with other animals just want to say thank u at mo to devastated to think straight but needed to let u know I am grateful his cremation took place in lovely surrounding and quickly

Thank you for giving my boy a caring individual cremation. A very professional service however i would say that sending out a fridge magnet and a booklet on your services along with my invoice may need to be thought about.

Thank you for your comments. I am pleased that you are happy with the service you received. The booklet that we include is part of our procedures to ensure we abide by the Trading Standards Regulations. It provides a means by which clients may change their mind if they have not had a chance to consider everything or simply wish to make a change. It is an important part of the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations that we are committed to. We are also very flexible and our aim is for you to receive the presentation you want. As we explain on the information that accompanies the invoice please feel free to throw away anything that you do not want. We provide some cards you can give to others if they need help and the magnet is there if you wish to have something that is easy to refer to. We know some people will not want it but there are many that do. I am sorry if it has caused any offence. It is given with the best of intentions.
