Would highly recommend chestnut lodge have used the service for the second time now sadly have just lost my cat Lucy of 18 years
Would like to thank kim for looking after her for the final journey back to chestnut lodge where she will have a individual cremation and return back home

Our dog Sam passed away and his body was collected on Thursday via the vet clinic. The ashes returned on Monday with a fine package and a warm condolence card. I highly recommend Chestnut Lodge professional services.

We sadly had to have our dog Paddy put to sleep. We decided that we wanted an individual cremati for him, and we chose Chestmut Lodge on the recommendation of my sister who has used their services 3 times over recent years

Following a traumatic morning, we arrived at Chestnut Lodge where we were met by lovely people who took Paddy from my car into their little chapel of rest. Everything was done sympathetically and respectfully.

I collected Paddy a week later. Lovely condolences card and paw print was included with his beautiful paw print urn.

I would not hesitate to recommend Cheatnut Lodges services to anyone who has lost a beloved pet. I will use them again without hesitation. Hopefully not for a long time though!!

Have used Chestnut Lodge twice before and had no hesitation in using their services again. The process is as painless as is possible at these times and would not hesitate to recommend them.

This was the second time we had need to use Chestnut Lodges for a pet cremation, this time for our much loved cat Olivia when she passed away unexpectedly. We received a thoroughly professional and respectful service, my calls and emails were dealt with with such empathy and compassion, I was given accurate information on the various options available, and it really felt like the staff really understood exactly how awful it is to lose a much loved pet, they were so kind and helpful at a time when I was feeling very distressed and barely able to hold a conversation without bursting into tears. They arranged the collection from the vets practice and the ashes and paw print casts were delivered back to us very quickly and with great dignity, in a carefully packaged and nicely presented box. I can absolutely recommend Chestnut Lodge for anyone dealing with the sad loss of a pet.

How very fortunate we were to find and choose Chestnut Lodge Pet Crematorium whilst seeking a same-day solution after we had to have our terminally-ill cat, Cato, urgently sent to sleep at home. We delivered our beautiful boy's euthanized body here, at this peaceful, wooded site. Nothing flashy or intimidating here. Just a simple reception hut in which to check in and discuss our requirements with the lovely Kim. We were given as long as we needed with Cato in a private viewing room. We were totally at ease with leaving him in Chestnut Lodge's care while they prepared our chosen commemorative items (of which there is a wide range) and Cato for cremation. We opted to attend the start of the individual cremation 2 days later, which again gave us as long as we wanted to bid our buddy a final farewell. Kim and Zoe went out of their way to hunt down (and find!) his mislaid toy so that it could be placed in his paws 'for the journey'. They allowed plenty of time to commiserate and watch an amusing video of him. We got a real sense of genuine compassion and understanding. When we returned a few hours later to collect Cato's ashes, they and the other keepsakes were so beautifully presented; it showed a lot of thought, care and effort has been put into their service.
