Have to say Chestnut lodge crematorium is the best place to have your pet taken to have used their services for a number of years now recently had to have my precious cat cremated,and will have his ashes returned in a wooden cat casket Marlee was 18yrs 3mnths old had him from a kitten when he was 10wks old now crossing the 🌈 bridge with his brother Mugz and other cat before them Max rip my boy will never forget you all

Sadly had to say goodbye to our special boy Tiny in June.
Throughout this difficult time we were treated with the utmost kindness and respect by everyone at Chestnut Lodge. Everything we asked for was done with the utmost care and compassion.
Would highly recommend Chestnut Lodge to anyone for when “ that awful day “ happens.

This is a beautiful place and the man I spoke to twice on the phone was so helpful and patient answering all my grief filled questions. Putting my mind at rest and being totally transparent about where my dog would be etc. When we arrived Sam guided us through so caringly. Everyone seemed kind. Our beautiful girl was resting peacefully. Thank you Chestnut Lodge

I have really struggled with the loss of my cat Jem. Chestnut lodge responded to my email about her cremation so quickly and with great empathy. It really helped with my grief to be able to say goodbye to Jem one last time and to be allowed to wait whilst her cremation was being done. Chestnut lodge helped me at the worst possible time of my life. I can't thank your team enough. Thank you.

Losing our beloved dog, Timtim, was one of the most heartbreaking moments our family has faced. During this incredibly difficult time, the team at Chestnut Lodge provided a level of care, compassion, and respect that brought us great comfort.

From the moment we reached out, the staff treated Timtim not just as a pet, but as a cherished family member. Their empathy was evident in every interaction—they were gentle, patient, and understanding of our grief. They explained each step of the cremation process with kindness and clarity, giving us the space and time we needed.

When Timtim was returned to us, we were deeply touched by the thoughtful presentation of his ashes. The beautiful urn, the paw print, and the heartfelt card made it clear that he had been treated with true dignity and love.

We are so grateful to Chestnut Lodge for honoring Timtim’s life in such a meaningful way. Their compassion made an incredibly hard moment a little easier to bear, and we will never forget the kindness they showed us and our boy.
