We can't thank you all enough for all your kindness and compassion at what is every pet owners nightmare.

Stephen answered my initial email out-of-hours which was very much appreciated. I'd just come back from the vet, I knew I wouldn't be able to hold a conversation without crying, so emailed Chestnut Lodge to find out some initial queries we had. Everything was answered quickly in a helpful and caring manner.

We collected our lovely Brucie from the vet the next morning and took him to Chestnut Lodge that afternoon. As soon as we arrived we knew we'd made the right choice. Everything was explained, the whole process, obviously heartbreaking, was taken care of with utmost care and understanding. We had the choice whether to say our final goodbye before leaving him for his service.

It only took 3 days before we received Brucie's ashes back in our choice of engraved black cat urn. Again, with all the care and attention to detail. We're so pleased. Thank you! We won't hesitate to recommend Chestnut Lodge.

Thank you so much for looking after my beautiful Pili, your help, kindness & compassion couldn’t have been better. I am so grateful for your wonderful service. My beloved Pili passed away peacefully in April, but I haven’t been able to write anything until now. She was 16 1/2 years young & my baby, she was my emotional support dog. I loved her for her whole life (I still do) & I shall miss her for the rest of mine. Rest well my sweet girl, my beloved angel xxx 💗

I would like to thank Chestnut Lodge they were so caring when we had to say goodbye to our beautiful dog Poppy she was the centre of our world and it was a very emotional time but Chestnut Lodge made things a little easier everything was carried out efficiently quickly and with sensitivity thank you once again.

We had our dog Alfie put to sleep and chestnut lodge kept us informed about when he was back at the vets after being cremated, he was put in a beautifal dark wood box and their emails were so kind. Thank you chestnut lodge

We went on our last journey with our beloved dog Bert. He was handled with such love and care and we knew we had made the right decision by bringing him to Chesnut lodge.
He had an individual cremation and they rang us 30min before so we could be thinking of him. We laid a posy in the river where he loved to swim. When we collected him it was very peaceful and done with compassion 🙏
He was presented so beautifully the attention to detail was so lovely from the flower in the urn to the fur cuttings and cremation certificate in lovely cards. His paw print is perfect just struggling at the moment to look at it😢
I've had a ring made with his ashes and fur and the jeweller said she'd never seen human or pet remains so beautifully presented.
I would highly recommend Chesnut Lodge.

This service has really helped to come to terms with the loss of my beloved Rene’.
He was very special to me as he was my ‘emotional support’ dog. He was trained to jump on my lap for a cuddle if my mood was low.
The idea of individual cremation and retaining his ashes has helped my grieving process. A wonderful service.

Can i just say again, thank you the Chestnut Lodge for the cremation of my beautiful baby Obi.
It’s been a year since I brought him to you and I still will never forget how amazing your staff were in handling him and also how supportive you were towards me and my family.
He is resting peacefully on his shelf along with his pawprint and fur trimmings.
He now also has a younger brother Lando who he is watching over always as well as me during this sad anniversary.
Your staff deserve the world and more for their incredibly invaluable job 🙂

The loss of our 15 year old dog, Banjo was so difficult. Chestnut Lodge made the whole process of cremation very easy. From collection of Banjo from the vets, to choosing what memorial we wanted, they understood exactly what we needed and were so kind and caring on the phone. I truly believe that they take good care of the animals entrusted to them and we would highly recommend them.

More than I could of hoped for. They were extremely kind and compassionate
And my beloved dog Mia ashes and paw print came home hand delivered.

Our dog Merlin sadly died two months before his 15th birthday and I’ve just received the ashes, paw prints and fur cuttings. I’m so impressed with the care and thoughtful way his ashes and mementos were packaged and returned . Thank you so much for this wonderful service.
