Thank you Chestnut Lodge for your kind and dignified treatment when I lost my lovely ginger cat Thomasina Aged 20 years and 3.months. I was able to choose the type of cremation and the Casket for her ashes is lovely. I now have her home with.me after you delivered her back on Friday. This was so kind and made it easier for me not having to go and collect her from the vet.
Thank you again and I will definitely recommend Chestnut Lodge.
Our beautiful Tilly (Fleas) after 10 years of loving her she was put to rest on July 4, 2020 which left our hearts broken.
On Friday 10,2020 she came home to us in the most precious Urn the Labrador with the bone that now sits looking at us exactly where she layed. Thank you for helping us in every way and looking after Tilly bringing her home.
An excellent service given to us by Chestnut Lodge in the last week when we lost our beautiful 20 year old tabby cat, Misty. Always distressing and traumatic to lose a beloved pet but it was all handled sensitively and with a lot of thought put into it, with some lovely touches, which were gratefully received. Thank you.
Chestnut Lodge provided us with great comfort at a very difficult time. Everyone there, from the lovely lady on the phone and Stephen, whom we have met there, were truly supportive.
We felt that our lovely boy was in safe hands and we took him home in a beautiful urn in a shape of a sleeping cat.
Having my 20 year old cat put to sleep was heartbreaking but Chestnut Lodge treated my much loved pet with respect and dealt with everything in such a caring and professional manner. They literally went the extra mile and more to accommodate my wishes and I cannot thank them enough.
Our vet organized our darling dog's collection by Chestnut Lodge and the return of his ashes to us. We really didn't know what to expect when the ashes were returned, but we were very moved by how sensitively and carefully everything was presented. It was very touching that our beautiful boy had been treated with such care and respect.
Over the years we have made many sad journeys to Chestnut Lodge where the care and attention are undiminished . The confidence inspired by the team that one’s pet will be treated like one of their own is a great comfort .
My daughter sadly had to have her Boy put to sleep sat June 20th
She had spoken to a very nice lady at chestnut lodge a few days before
We had her boy ! Cremated 22nd June
We were so grateful we could arrange to bring him personally this made the parting
So more personal
We were given time to decide what we wanted
Paw prints the wooden casket and the last minutes with her boy
Collected the ashes 3 hours later so felt like he was coming home once again
The whole situation was done in a dignified way
Which her boy deserved
Please do not hesitate to use chestnut lodge

Thank you so much for taking good care of our dear dog Spike. We have just received his ashes, packaged with such care, and his Certificate of Cremation. Now we can lay him to rest under the Cypress tree in our garden. We are truly grateful for your kind, understanding and respectful approach to helping us through our goodbyes, and would certainly recommend you to anyone who loves and loses an animal companion.
