The loss of an elderly and poorly pet is no easier, so I wanted something special for Max and chose Chestnut Lodge for a private cremation.

I wasn’t sure if Chestnut Lodge would serve our area, but it’s always worth contacting them.

I was expecting to receive a good service, but what we got exceeded my expectations.

The sleeping black cat casket is beautiful, the fur clipping is in a lovely card, along with a certificate of private cremation and a letter. Everything was personalised and respectfully presented when Max came home again.

Everything we could hope for following the loss of a member of the family.

I truly believe that Chestnut Lodge followed my exact instructions as regarded the cremation of my 14 year old cat Titbit.Her ashes were returned to my vet for collection and their kind words really helped with what was a very difficult time

Thanks so much Riann and team for taking such good and compassionate care of our beautiful boy Duke the cat, loosing my little buddy was one of the hardest things to deal with, but in this time of sadness, we couldn’t have thought of a better fitting way to honour our beloved boy. The dignity compassion and care through out the process was second to none, and the paw print & impression are amazing. We are so grateful we are able to keep his memory within the home he loved.

I have used chestnut lodge for both my dogs and they are absolutely lovely, very caring and compassionate. Everything was as I asked for and they sent my dogs ashes back within a few days. I would highly recommend them.

We are so grateful for the wonderful care we have received from Chestnut Lodge. Our lovely cat Pixi was given such a beautiful burial there yesterday in the most peaceful woodland.
