Veterinary surgeries are rapidly and are now dominated by huge corporations who own the majority of surgeries in the country. This may not be obvious as often the original names are retained or the same vets may be present but now work for the master company rather than having control over what happens.
Over the years, due to these sellouts, we have lost work through many of the vets we used to serve. Often we still perform cremations for the staff of these practices but their clients receive a very different service to the ones we provided. Generally, it is the handling of your pets that suffers although there has to be doubt over the attention to detail that goes on, in particular the cleaning out of the cremation chambers at the end of the cremation, when these vast cremation factories are dealing with so many animals in a short time.
